Quiet campground at Lake Kissimmee State Park

Quiet campground at Lake Kissimmee State Park - although there were 60 sites in two loops of 30, the separation between sites and vegetation made it more like remote boondocking. The lack of WiFi and cellular also were more like boondocking. Fortunately, the Weboost cell booster gave us a barely usable cell signal. Useful as, after 5+ weeks of careful and detailed planning (regarding campground stays), we decided to call an audible. So instead of the planned 4 nights, we only stayed one night. This meant we did not get to fully experience the hiking trails, etc. Oh well, for another time.

Drove to South County Regional Park, Punta Gorda, FL to watch radio controlled (RC) Laser racing. They had a regatta scheduled, so we went to learn more about these boats. Everyone was very helpful in answering our questions. And we almost brought one home with us. Still thinking about where RC boats fit in our fleet - including how to store, transport, and use.
