Silver Springs State Park

View out our front window at Silver Springs State Park. While the campground had the most spaced out sites of any campground this trip, we did Park nose in instead of backing in, so the bed would be sloped better for sleeping. A great campground with the best shower facility of any state park we’ve stayed at.

Played golf at Baseline Golf Course in Ocala. The property used to be a nursery - and the course was the most visually attractive course I’ve ever played. 3,604 yards, par 64 course. Longest hole was 320 yards; shortest 90 yards.

On the way to our latest campground (Rodman Campground) near Palatka, we saw signs along the road about a bluegrass festival - so we checked it out, and decided to spend Saturday (day off from golf) at the festival.
