Roadtrek Happy Hour

While it was chilly again (low near freezing), we take comfort there is no snow in the forecast like at Deep Creek Lake today.

Started the morning attending a seminar “Technology for Travelers”, put on by Jim & Chris Guld, a.k.a. “Geeks on Tour” (www.geeksontour.com). We met them in Indianapolis, and subscribed to their “What Does This Button Do” learning info. Even after traveling over 125 days in the last year, we learned some new things today. As did hundreds of others as you can see from the photo.

Part of the rally experience is meeting and hanging out with other Roadtrek folks. Over 40 as of happy hour (“pour at four”) yesterday afternoon. Most are Chevy-based Roadtreks - Popular 190s and 210s. About six (incl Sprinty) are Mercedes Benz-based. Lots of sharing of tips and ideas about travel, places to see, planning, etc.
