Warauga Dam Campground near Elizabethton, TN

We made a slow start to give Mother Nature an opportunity to warm things up a bit. Tee-ed off around 10am to a nearly empty golf course. Played well, well enough Darrell had to buy Kris a grande Frappachino for his efforts. Meandered up US321 and settled in at the Warauga Dam Campground, a Tennessee Valley Authority campground near Elizabethton, TN. Great location, right on the Watauga River. No TV, no WiFi, and poor cell though. So just had to enjoy the beautiful location.

As we left the campground this morning for a treat - breakfast at Covered Bridge Cafe in Elizabethton, TN - Sprinty’s odometer turned 29,195, exactly 20,000 miles since we adopted Sprinty in February 2017. And last night was our 56th night camping with Sprinty this year, 136th night total.
