Hocking Hills State Park near Logan, OH

Another benefit of the Plan C campsite selection Monday was that we started our golf round earlier, and finished earlier, allowing us to get to Hocking Hills State Park near Logan, OH a little earlier. Once we left the golf course, the weather became more unsettled with occasional light rain off and on. Upon arrival to Hocking Hills, we checked in at the campground. As the sky did not look too threatening for rain, we headed out on the hiking trails in the gorge that is the main attraction for the State Park.

Perhaps due to the uncertain weather, the trails were less crowded than last year. iPhone photos cannot do justice to the beautiful rock formations and small waterfalls. Below is my attempt to capture some of the beauty.
