Happy Third Gotcha Anniversary

Saturday, 22 February

Three years ago today, Sprinty was adopted by Kris and Darrell on a chilly, overcast day in Boise, ID. The initial trip was a simple drive down I-84 from Boise to Salt Lake City, UT, where Sprinty rested up while the Utah highway department cleared snow and ice from the roads along the route home.

Two days later Sprinty began the adventuring Sprinty was born to do. The first night camping was at Watchman Campground in Zion National Park in Southwest Utah. A rather epic way to start. Set the bar high from the outset.

Sprinty showed Kris and Darrell some amazing adventures over the next few weeks as they adventured back to Georgia: Bryce Canyon National Park, driving in an unexpected snowstorm, Capital Reef National Park, Canyon Lands National Park, Arches National Park, Mesa Verde National Park, Palo Duro Canyon State Park, Clinton Presidential Library, and Hot Springs National Park just to name a few.

Adventuring in 2017 totaled 80 nights camping which was rather modest by comparison to the years that followed. In 2018, Sprinty camped out 183 nights, and in 2019, he camped out 207 nights.
